New Triathlon Club Launches in Grangemouth

This article was published on behalf of Grangemouth Triathlon Club.

Our club is called Grangemouth Triathlon Club and launched on Saturday 12th September at Grangemouth High School. We train every Saturday at the school from 9am till 11am. This is open to both juniors from 8 years upwards and adults aged 17 years and upwards.

We would encourage anyone from novices to experienced triathletes to come along. We would also encourage anyone with a disability to come along and try out the world of Triathlon.

Our sessions are run by qualified coaches for 2 hours at a time. In conjunction with the participants, these sessions will be two from the following three; swim, bike or run. The sessions will be open to anyone with an interest in competing in triathlon. There will be more sessions to follow throughout the week over the next coming months, including open water swimming at The Helix.

Membership will be £15.00 for adults & £10.00 for juniors per annum. Each hour session will cost £2.00 or £3.00 for both hour sessions. Requirements for both adults & juniors will be appropriate swimming and running gear.  All participants must be able to swim 2 lengths of the pool competently.

Why not come along and meet us and your first session will be free of charge!
