Synchro Success for Grangemouth Girls

Grangemouth ASC Synchronised Swimming ClubFive girls from Grangemouth ASC Synchronised Swimming Club were selected to join the West District Team to compete in the Scottish Swimming Inter District Synchro Championships at Buckie on 19 March 2016. Sara Campbell, Jennifer Shaw and Jessie Kidd gained gold in Trio and Molly Crawford and Amy Short joined the Team routine and also won gold!

The girls’ dedication paid off, with them putting in extra training with West District in Dumbarton, as well as their regular Club sessions at Grangemouth High School pool. Grangemouth members are now getting ready to compete in the Club Championships on 18 June in Edinburgh.

Grangemouth ASC Synchro Swimming Club was formed in 2012 and has gone from strength to strength. The Club has a variety of skill levels and last year enjoyed success at Scottish National level and are aiming to be back there this year.
