On Thursday 26th May 2016, Woodlands games hall hosted the annual Falkirk cluster tennis tournament. 56 pupils took part representing 7 of the local primary schools. The Tennis produced by pupils was of an extremely high standard and great sportsmanship was shown throughout the event.
The overall winners on the day were Comely Park Primary who managed to retain their title with an impressive 45 points. Comely Park will now go on to represent the Falkirk cluster in the Falkirk wide Finals that will take place on the 16th June at Zetland Park. 2nd place was St Francis Primary with 35 points and 3rd place was Bantaskin Primary with 23 points.
A special mention must go out to George Henderson (Slamannan PS), Luis Viers (St Francis PS), Jay Russell, Jessica Bell, Robbie Easton and Harris Cant (Comely Park PS) managed to win all their games.
A special mention must go to the Falkirk high school CSLA students helped on the day by umpiring matches, time keeping, and recording scores were a big part of the success of the event.
