It's Volunteer's Week!
We rely on our volunteers to deliver many of the important services we provide. This week, we'll be highlighting the sorts of volunteering opportunities that are available, thanking our volunteers, and showing you how you can get involved!
Day 2 - Helix Ambassadors
Helix Ambassadors enjoy meeting the visitors to the park/Kelpies and being outdoors. They help by giving out information to visitors to ensure they have the best visit possible visit. They work in 3 ½ hour shifts. During school holidays, volunteers choose their shifts and frequency. Training totals 12 hours over 4 sessions.
What training is required?
Worldhost – Customer service training, Kelpie Tour, and Ambassador Training
One of our Helix Ambassadors says:
"I have loved being part of the Helix family and felt a real sense of achievement when I recommended the tour to a group of 4 people. They came back to say thank you specifically afterwards."
