How long have you been a volunteer with Active Schools?
I have been volunteering with Active Schools for just over a year now.
How did you get involved with Active Schools?
I got involved with Active Schools through my school and by contacting my Active Schools Coordinator.
What do you enjoy most about Volunteering?
What I enjoy most about volunteering is helping young kids get into sport and to stop them from being on the streets.
How has being a volunteer with Active Schools benefited you?
Volunteering has helped me to become more confident.
Describe your most memorable moment from your time as a volunteer with Active Schools?
All of my moments volunteering having been memorable and enjoyable so I cannot pick one specific example.
What would you like to be doing in 5 years time?
In 5 years time I hope to be in university studying Medicine.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking about becoming a volunteer?
The advice i would give is, do it! You'll be giving a little but receiving so much in return.
If you could try one sport that you've never done before what would it be?
I would definitely like to try tennis.
If you were left on a desert island and could take with you a luxury item, a book, and a piece of music. What would they be and why?
Luxury Item: My gold heart pendant from my Gran in Sweden as I am so close to her.
Book: "After You" by Jojo Moyes because it is my favourite book.
Piece of Music: Falling for You by the 1975 because I never tire of it.
