To work in our Sports Development team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Tennis Assistant Coach, who will deliver fun, safe and engaging coaching sessions, to the people involved in our Sports Development program.
We have ambitious plans for Tennis in Falkirk. As an assistant coach, your main role is all about supporting the delivery of creative, fun and structured coaching sessions. Your role will also involve inspiring and motivating the people involved in our tennis programme to develop their skills and promote the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle through sport. We are looking for great people, who naturally have these qualities.
Coaching sessions will be delivered at various sports facilities throughout Falkirk. The post requires self-motivation, flexibility, team work and good communication skills. Currently our tennis provision includes the following sessions with the options of additional hours for delivery at holiday camps and other tennis related activity. Classes run for 40 weeks of the year.
Tuesday, Dollar Park, 4.45pm to 8.15pm
Thursday, Dollar Park, 4.45pm to 8.15pm
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a UKCC level 1 Tennis qualifications for this post

The successful applicant will be employed by Falkirk Community Trust. The Trust is a charitable company set up by Falkirk Council to deliver culture, library, recreation and sport services on its behalf from 1st July 2011. The successful candidate will require to gain/maintain membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for regulated work with children.
The post is temporary until 31st March 2019 to allow a review of service requirements to be undertaken.
You will work 7 hours per week on a term time basis.
If you are the successful candidate for this post, you will be working with children and/or vulnerable adults and therefore you must have PVG membership.
