Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Trust currently applies a living wage supplement to all employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. The value of the living wage supplement is subject to regular review by the Council and the Trust, is non-contractual and can be changed at any time.
Falkirk Community Trust wishes to appoint a responsible, outgoing person to carry out caretaker duties at Grangemouth Town Hall.
This physically demanding post includes duties such as maintenance, security, cleaning, setting out for lets and other general duties. The hours of work are variable to be worked flexibly in accordance with hall lets, which can include evenings and weekends. You will also be required to work alone, or as part of a team.
Experience of caretaking, cleaning and dealing with the public would be advantageous. A current Driving Licence would be desirable.
You will work 25 hours per week.
