Our growing range includes top glossies like Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Hello, as well as the best in entertainment and lifestyle from F1 magazine, Classic Rock, GQ, Guitar and Gamesmaster.
There’s also something for foodies in the form of BBC Olive and Easycook magazines and you can indulge your arty side with titles like Artists and Illustrators and Digital Camera World.
Of course for most of us the New Year is all about shaping up, so you’ll get a little extra help from our health and sports collection, which includes Health and Fitness, Men’s Health, Golf Monthly and Cycling Plus.
You can download these titles absolutely free of charge to your PC, tablet or mobile device and, as you get to keep any title you download, there’s no library fines!
If you’re a library member you can log on at the Falkirk Community Trust site and download the latest full issues from our new online digital magazine provider Zinio or pop along to your local library with some ID that includes your name and address and sign up to gain access to all digital magazines and eBooks.
Whether you’re slouching on the sofa or on the move, your library membership means you have 24/7 access to a range of useful resources. Check out our Library on Demand for eBooks and learning tools such as Theory Test Pro, where you can study online for your Driving Theory test.
There will be information sessions available throughout January where you can bring along your device and learn how to get the best out of our eBook and Digital Magazine service. Dates are:
And remember: you can check the library catalogue and renew and reserve books online day or night!
