The successful candidate will be employed by Falkirk Community Trust. The Trust is a charitable company set up by Falkirk Council to deliver culture, library, recreation and sport services on its behalf from 1 July 2011. We are currently looking for confident, self-motivated team players who are competent and willing to turn their hand to any task to join our maintenance team.
There’s never going to be a dull moment, your everyday jobs will be varied including general maintenance, basic electrical, plumbing, decorating, joinery and mechanical tasks. In addition you will carry out routine inspections and keep the associated records up to date.
You will be working across several venues in the Falkirk area, which will include Grangemouth Sports Complex, Mariner Leisure Centre, Bo’ness Recreation Centre, Grangemouth Stadium and Community Sports Venues. These venues have numerous areas which require both proactive and reactive maintenance including swimming pools, sports halls, saunas and steam rooms to mention a few. We take our customers welfare very seriously and expect you to highlight any health and safety concerns promptly.
You will report to the Senior Leisure Attendant/Duty Officer on a daily basis and be expected to employ a high degree of initiative and enthusiasm at all times.
Successful candidates must have a current full driving licence and should ideally hold a qualification in a relevant trade, and a Pool Plant Operators Certificate.
