Active Schools Host Going for Glasgow Legacy Launch

Active Schools hosted the Going for Glasgow Legacy Launch at Bo’ness Town Hall on Tuesday 23rd September. Representatives from 45 Falkirk area schools attended to celebrate and share their Going for Glasgow experiences, and to plan their Legacy for the future.

Jen Cairns, Active Schools Co-ordinator said:

"We shared our best bits through pictures and film with some added acting and comedy from our team - looking forward to the Oscar nominations next year!

"Schools shared experiences in their clusters and designed posters showcasing their legacy plans. Schools could then tour the gallery to get ideas and an insight into what great work is happening across the district.

"Our local young ambassadors from Graeme High School and St Mungo’s High School assisted the children with stories of their experiences of the games and got some great ideas to take back to the high schools to ensure the legacy is for all ages in Falkirk!

"We look forward to seeing our Falkirk schools Legacy in action over the coming months and years."
