Depositing and donating records to Falkirk Archives

Falkirk Archives welcomes offers of records relating to the Falkirk Council area to add to the collections.

These could include records of any age, such as photographs, maps, plans, minute books and letters relating to local individuals, families, organisations, societies and businesses.

If you think you have records which would be of interest, please contact the Archives staff who will be happy to discuss this with you.

If you have records which do not fall within our collecting remit then we will try to suggest alternative collections which might be more appropriate.

Records can be added to our collections either as a donation or a long-term deposit.

We ensure that all records in our care are preserved and made available to the general public under careful supervision in our search room in Callendar House.

We also provide advice and assistance to organisations or individuals that wish to retain their own records.

For further details, please feel free contact us.
