New for 2018 are our Festive Fridays!
On Friday 30 November from 6pm - 8pm, we bring you the Callendar House Christmas Light Show in the grounds of Callendar Park. Light Field is an off-grid, kinetically powered participatory installation. The audience are invited to wind up and move kinetically powered lanterns, which emit a glow which gets brighter when activated. Perfect for families and young ones. Free admission.
Friday 07 & 14 December from 6pm - 8pm we present a festive evening of history, art, crafts and mulled wine! Artist Tessa Asquith-Lamb will tell you about the traditions and decorations of Christmas past and what Dickens saw on a Christmas tree in the 19th century. You can then make your own Victorian fortune-telling peg doll fairy/lucky shoe decorations in the artroom.
On Friday 21 December, the Glenbervie Duo will be playing Christmas and traditional tunes from 6pm - 7:30pm (free).
Up in our newly refurbished Drawing Room, we will be offering our scrumptious Festive Afternoon Teas - please contact the Christmas hotline on 01324 506850 to book.
In our Gift Shop, we'll have an excellent selection of good quality gift items produced in Scotland, ranging from gin from Orkney to cosy scarves and wraps.
