Local Rolls of Honour

Throughout the First World War, local schools, churches, workplaces and communities compiled rolls of honour. Sometimes these were lists of those who died, and sometimes they included all who served in the armed forces.

Most rolls of honour were compiled shortly after the end of the First World War. However, the Falkirk Roll of Honour was compiled in 2012.
