About Your Library Service
Falkirk Community Trust Libraries are for anyone who lives, works or studies in the Falkirk area. A free library membership gives you access to a world of information and entertainment.
A huge range of books and audiobooks
Our book selection includes fiction and non-fiction titles for adults and children. You're sure to find something to suit, whether you're looking for an escape, a bedtime story to share, or you're planning your holiday.
We also stock titles in large print and in audiobook CD, which can be borrowed at no extra charge.
DVDs and Music CDs
Borrow the latest films for adults or children and our fantastic range of TV boxsets that includes hit shows like Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. There is a hire charge for DVDs.
Music CDs are available for lending, free, from Bo'ness, Falkirk, Grangemouth and Meadowbank libraries.
Download eBooks, audiobooks and Magazines
As a library member you can download a great selection of ebooks, audiobooks and magazines, like BBC Good Food, Total Film and Hello! absolutely free.

Falkirk's libraries are fantastic for families. We plan a range of activities for all ages throughout the year, including school holidays. Come and join the fun!
- Rhymetimes are a great way to socialise your baby and toddler with songs, stories and action.
- Storytimes are for children aged 5 years and under.
- Chatterbooks clubs for primary school age children

Free WI-FI, PC and Internet access
Use our PCs or access library Wi-Fi on your own device. All library PCs have Microsoft Office and offer free access to study and research tools:
- Ancestry is the number one website for researching your family history.
- Access to Research hosts thousands of academic articles – perfect for students or
anyone conducting research.
- Theory Test Pro is for anyone studying for their Driving Theory Test and can be accessed on your own device and outside the library.
Printing, scanning and photocopying
Library members can access PCs to scan and print documents, but there is
a charge for printing.
You do not need to be a library member to use photocopying facilities or to read books or magazines on the premises.

You can also place requests for items and renew your books on our library catalogue or via our Apple App.
