Bookings and cancellations

Booking

To book on a course with us, just fill out the relevant booking form, attach payment and send or drop it in to us at the base.

If we already have your details on file (and they're up to date), then a note of the course you wish to attend and payment will suffice.

Course fees will include all instruction and specialist equipment needed.

Payment

  • Payment for all courses must be made upon booking
  • Places can’t be allocated until the full fee has been received
  • Payment can be made by either cash or cheque, payable to Falkirk Community Trust
  • Instructors cannot take payment or make bookings on the day of the activity

Cancellation

Cancellation on any of our day courses will result in the following charges:

Cancellation period Charge
48 hours full fee
Within 5 working days half fee
Over 5 working days you will receive a full refund

Cancellation on any of our overnight courses will result in the following charges:

5 working days full fee
5-10 working days half fee
Over 10 working days you will receive a full refund

Under exceptional circumstances payment may be carried forward to a future course if enough notice is given.

Change of advertised course

Unfortunately, due to the nature of outdoor activities, some changes have to be made at short notice. We will endeavour to inform participants of any changes to activities or venue.

If changes are made to the advertised programme, then cancellation fees are not applied. Any balance can be transferred to a future course or refunded.
