Event description

Falkirk Libraries are thrilled to be taking part in the Hurricane Book Club with Glasgow and Orkney Libraries and Pan MacMillan publishers.

Hurricane Book Club is a reading group with a difference: it's a remote book club that takes place online, but with special events in libraries to discuss the books.

The first book is Girl in Snow by Danya Kukafka, a gripping story of murdered girl, told by three of the people involved. It's a beautifully written, quite eerie book with well-drawn, realistic characters and has attracted rave reviews from writing stars Lee Child and 'Girl on the Train' author Paula Hawkins. We think it will make for a great discussion.

How to get involved
Get in touch with us if you'd like to join the club. You'll be given a proof copy of Girl in Snow to keep for your very own. Just have a read and come along on Thursday February 22nd to Falkirk Library at 6pm for a friendly discussion about the book and some light refreshments.
