A list has been compiled containing 13,000 individual names of people from the Falkirk district who served in the armed forces or the nursing services during the First World War. Did you know that within a year of the war ending ten of them had died of accidents at work? One was electrocuted at Carron Iron Works. Even during the war, a number of soldiers were killed at Grangemouth Docks. The talk will show how the information gathered can be used in an unexpected variety of ways.
