Falkirk Community Trust is led by a Board of 12 Directors drawn from Falkirk Council and independent community members.
Falkirk Community Trading is led by a Board of 5 Directors. This wholly owned trading subsidiary delivers those activities which are not recognised as charitable.

David spent most of his working career with Bank of Scotland and specialises in strategy, finance and marketing. A board member of 4 Scottish companies, he has strong interests in the local area and in all aspects of sport and recreation. David joined the Trust Board in October 2015 and has been Chairman since August 2018
Joan has a wide range of interests and is particularly keen on environmental sustainability, tourism and supporting young people to develop their potential. A previous Board member, she re-joined the Trust Board in 2017 and has been Vice Chair since August 2017.
Simon is a co-opted Trust Board member. He is Chief Executive of Central Scotland Green Network Trust. He is a former Board Member of Children 1st and a current member of TCV and Paths for All. Simon joined the Trust Board in November 2012.
Andrew is Head of Retail Operations for Royal Voluntary Service and has valuable management experience in the commercial, charitable and visitor attraction sectors. Andrew lives locally and joined the Trust Board in June 2018.
Jim has an interest in libraries, community recreation and is an advocate for parks and open spaces. He is keen to encourage older citizens and school children to keep active. Jim joined the Trust Board in June 2017.
Lorna has a strong interest in community capacity building and supporting those from disadvantaged backgrounds to engage in all forms of activity. Lorna joined the Trust Board in June 2017.
Derek is a drama teacher at Larbert High School and has been involved in local arts organisations across the area for many years. He joined the Trust Board in July 2017.
Alan is recently retired from the Office of Communications (Ofcom) and brings a wealth of experience of governance in complex environments. Alan has lived in Falkirk for most of his life and joined the Trust Board in March 2019.
Councillor Spears is a senior Councillor on Falkirk Council, portfolio holder for Tourism, Heritage and Culture, he helped secure The Antonine Wall World Heritage Status, Millennium Link Project Falkirk Wheel, the Kelpies and Helix Projects. Helping drive forward Sustainable Tourism and keen to promote the rich historical aspects of the area and promote the district to as wide an audience as possible.
