These services are central to the objectives of the Trust, and provide access to sport, health & fitness, leisure and fun, in both indoor and outdoor settings. These services provide an excellent platform from which to engage with our customers and one of Paul's top priorities is to continue to improve the customer experience offered across all areas. Paul has over 30 years experience in the Sport & Recreation industry and has worked in a variety of roles during his time at both North Lanarkshire and Falkirk Councils. He has progressed from his first role as Leisure Attendant to Duty Manager, and onwards to various Sports & Recreation Management roles within Falkirk Council. Paul is a keen swimmer – a former Scottish Champion – and also enjoys walking and the occasional visit to the Gym, as well as relaxing and enjoying his free time

Lesley O'Hare

Culture & Libraries Manager

Lesley has worked in cultural management for 30 years. After a false start as a bank teller, she studied history at Stirling University and while there, worked as an usher(ette) at the Macrobert. Since then, she has worked as a programmer, venue manager and arts development officer in Chesterfield, East Kilbride, Stirling and Fife, arriving in Falkirk in 2004 to take up the post of Cultural Services Manager. As Culture and Libraries Manager for the Trust, she is responsible for the management and development of our arts, museums' and libraries services and is particularly concerned with how these services share knowledge, expertise and good practice to help build loyalty among, and communicate effectively with, their customers. Lesley believes that strong and vibrant cultural provision contributes to a healthy and resilient community and is excited about the role the Trust can play in generating quality of life benefits to the people of the Falkirk area through its services and programmes. When she has any spare time, Lesley seeks out new and intriguing music (usually via the internet but occasionally venturing out to live gigs) as well as finding time to check out exhibitions, performances and screenings at the Park Gallery, Hippodrome and FTH Theatre.
