11.08.21 Customer Statement

Following the First Minister’s confirmation that the majority of Covid restrictions in Scotland will end from 9 August, we are delighted that our services are able to change in line with the new government guidance. With the long period of Covid safety restrictions nearing conclusion, we will be increasing our venue capacities to meet demand whilst still being mindful of the duty of care we have to our customers and staff. We thank everyone for their patience and support and can’t wait to see you all back enjoying yourselves!

Across all our venues, face coverings will continue to be worn by both staff and customers, unless exempt and we will continue to adhere to the Scottish Government’s Test and Protect scheme with all visitors required to provide their details at all indoor venues for possible contact tracing if required.

Specific changes across our facilities can be viewed below and we look forward to welcoming you on your next visit:

Sports Development Classes & Swimming Lessons

With most restrictions for young people participating in sport, (both indoor and outdoor) having been removed in previous covid level changes, there will be little to no change in the way your child experiences their coaching.

All sessions have been running in accordance with the latest guidance from both the Scottish Government and Sports Governing Bodies.  Should this guidance change, we will update our plans to reflect the national guidance.

To provide clarity and allow families to plan for the coming term, we have taken the decision to retain the current class times for the time being.  Our staff will continue using the times between sessions to keep our venues clean and safe for use. Any changes to the class times will be notified in advance to allow for forward planning.

Please note that there are now several sport specific exemptions where instructors may remove their facemask during sessions.

We will continue to keep our customers updated on any further changes via our website and social media channels.
