Temporary COVID-19 test centre to open at Grangemouth Sports Complex
A temporary mobile COVID-19 testing centre will open in Grangemouth for 5 days starting from Saturday 30 January to Wednesday 3 February. Its deployment is in response to an increased number of positive tests for COVID-19 in the Grangemouth area. The test centre will be located at Grangemouth Sports Complex, Abbots Road, Grangemouth FK3 8JB.
Anyone who lives or works in the Grangemouth area can make an appointment via the GOV.UK website or by calling 0300 303 2713. Residents do not have to be displaying symptoms of COVID-19 to make an appointment (they should select the option ‘My local council or health protection team has asked me to get a test, even though I do not have symptoms’ when booking a test).
Appointments will only be released each evening for the following morning and in the morning for appointments that afternoon. Appointments will be available to book after 6pm on Friday 29 January for the morning of Saturday 30 January and will then be released each morning and evening for appointments later that day or on the following morning. Appointments will be available from 9.30 am until 6pm daily.
Once appointments are fully booked the testing centre will not appear online as a venue option or be available for call handlers to book however new appointments are released each morning and evening so if there is no availability please check online or call back later.
