Farm Volunteer

What is a Farm Volunteer?

Newparks farm is located within Muiravonside Country Park and we are home to various animals, including Hamish and Jake, the Clydesdale horses. On the farm, you can also find Highland cattle, Shetland ponies, pigs, llamas, goats, sheep, and donkeys to name a few!

Newparks Farm is run by a small team of staff and, therefore, we rely on our volunteers to help us care for the animals, bringing with them the care and compassion that enables us to provide the best care possible.

Don’t worry if you don’t have experience! Farm Volunteers work alongside the Stock Keeper, who will train you in everything you need to know about caring for the animals and volunteering on the farm.
