Hidden Heritage: Lost Villages Volunteer

Hidden Heritage: Lost Villages Volunteer

Participate in an 8-week project (start date 25th October, 2019) exploring and interpreting the history of the workers at the Carron ironworks over time, and their lives in now lost villages. The project will create digital interpretation including image galleries, written articles and stories, and audio guides and scripts from the imagined point of view of workers through time as well as creating pieces utilising recordings from our Industry Histories oral history project. This content will be incorporated into the Our Stories website and Falkirk Explored trails app, as well as informing potential projects in 2020.
