Following extreme flooding yesterday the 5th, 6th and 7th holes will be closed. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Following Scottish Government advice Grangemouth Golf Course was closed on the 23 March and we are delighted that the course reopened on Friday 29 May.
Falkirk Community Trust, who run the course, have been working closely with the Club committee during the closure, making sure essential maintenance is carried out and preparations in place for a safe phased return to golf. Industry guidance and national regulations have all been taken on board and we are pleased to be able to offer the golfing community an opportunity to come back safely and enjoy the course, which is looking fantastic.
Keeping customers and staff healthy is our priority, so we'll be implementing some changes to keep you all safe. These have been based on guidance from the PGA, SGU and BIGGA as well as Government guidance. As these change, the proposed work and operating plans will also change so that we can ensure we follow best practice. For more detail and the full operating plan, please click here.
Guidance is available both online and at the course to help things go smoothly during the recovery period. New season ticket applications are welcomed and can be purchased at the pro shop on site with a credit or debit card.
This beautifully laid out 18 hole parkland course on gently sloping terrain provides a challenging but fair test of golf. Situated on 500 acres of Scottish countryside the course is surrounded by Polmont Woods and views of the Ochil Hills on the back 9.
For those in the know: it is a 6,432 yards White Tee Par 71, 6049 yards Yellow Tee Par 70 and 5542 Ladies/Junior Tees Par 73. The signature Par 3 7th plays over the edge of a reservoir to a slightly elevated green, guarded by several greenside bunkers. The 1st and 10th tees are located beside the clubhouse and the Pro-Shop, offering the possibility of 2 tee starts, with an ideal stop off for refreshments.
We offer a range of different season ticket options and 'pay and play' round and day tickets. For a full list of prices and season tickets CLICK HERE.
For beginners: Don’t be put off! Our Golf Pro provides advice, expertise and lessons for the budding golfer. New golfers under 18 years old can join free!
There is also a club associated with the course which is run privately by the members. You don't need to be a member of the golf club to buy a season ticket with FCT but you can't be a member of the club without a season ticket.
