The Waters of Life
In the Year of Coasts and Waters 2020 we look at how our local waterways have helped to shape our past and present, from the Romans to the modern day ports. You can see some of the surprising items that were imported and exported into the area via our waterways, learn why Bo'ness was once known as 'Pitpropolis', discover how hundreds of acres of land were reclaimed from the sea and find out how Grangemouth's shipyards send ships all over the world.
You can view the Exhibition in the 2nd Floor Galleries, Callendar House daily from Sat 1 February - Sun 17 May (closed Tuesdays).
